Planning Green Futures (PGF) Ltd has been in existence for 20 years, operating as an international consultancy for sustainable development, with projects in Soouth Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and many other countries around the world.
Based on that experience, PGF's director, Peter Nelson, has now written a draft Strategic Environmental Assessment which examines the threats faced by human civilisation from climate change, loss of biodiversity and many other global challenges.
The SEA is entitled 'Can You Help Planning a Greener Future'and is published under the banner of planninggreenfutures.org as a not-for-profit global initiative.
Its aim is to seek the support of anyone and everyone who is concerned about the multiple environmental, social and economic challenges which will affect the future of the planet in the next decade. If enough people respond, the findings will be delivered to the COP 26 meeting of the United Nations on Climate Change in Glasgow in November, 2021
Please take a little time to read the SEA and comment on its findings.
